PILOT'S INFORMATION

01/11 - Parking at Pulau Tioman

01 Oct 2011

Due to the cliose Proximity of the airport perimter fence and lack of taxiway guide lines at the General aviation Apron at Pulau Tioman, pilots are to exercise extreme caution while taxiing to park especially when turning the aircraft around to face the runway. They are to advised not to manoeuvre too close to the fence and to park nearer to the Control Tower.

Pilots are also reminded that the parking brakes must be positively set to ON before putting on the chocks or before removing the chocks.

02/06 - Recording of Fuel and Oil Quantity before Flight

06 March 2006

With immediate effect, the PIC of a flight will have to record the initial quantity of fuel and oil, any Uplifts and the Total quantity of fuel and oil carried prior to the departure of a flight in the Aircraft Technical Log.

01/06 - Recording of Flight Time

06 March 2006

The Pilot-in-Command of a flight is responsible for the accurate recording of the flight time.

For billing purpose, the Club uses the Chock-to-Chock time. This is the time the aircraft begins to taxi for the intended flight until the aircraft stops taxiing to shut-down after the flight.

Under-declaring the flight time of a flight is a serious offence and may implicate the club to safety and legal issues. Severe action will be taken against pilots are not recording the flight time accurately.

If in doubt of the flying time, the ATA (Actual Time of Departure) and the ATA (Actual Time of Arrival) can be verified with the Control Towers concerned.
